Hotel
When can I book my room?
Like last year, you will make your hotel reservations using a special link once you have registered for the conference. This will put you in NISC’s room block where you will get a discounted room rate. The hotels will not honor the NISC rate when reservations are made by any other method. Also, there is a limit of one room/suite per full conference registration.
What hotels are available in the NISC room block?
We will have room blocks at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort and the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve plus Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts. Both the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts are within easy walking distance of the conference venue. Remember there is a limit of one room/suite per full conference registration. Please visit the hotels page for more information.
Can I book a room any days before and/or after the conference for my personal stay? Will I be able to get NISC’s discounted rate for those days?
Due to the overwhelming desire of our conference attendees to extend their hotel dates beyond our group room block dates of September 16 – 19, we can no longer accept your accommodations extension requests. There are still hotels available for the MIC dates of September 16-19 only. All other dates are no longer available.
I am bringing my family, can I book more than one guest room?
Guest rooms are limited to 1 per full conference registration. Friends & Family cannot make additional reservations in the NISC room block; guests will need to work directly with Walt Disney World® reservations.

Miscellaneous
What is the attire for MIC?
Business casual (jeans are OK) for all educational sessions is suggested. While the weather is typically warm in Orlando, meeting rooms tend to be chilly. We recommend bringing a sweater or wear layers during the day. On-site receptions and MICfest are casual. MICfest will require a decent amount of walking so comfortable shoes are highly recommended.
I am a concurrent session speaker at MIC this year. When can I access the room where my session will take place?
Concurrent session rooms will be available for viewing and practice on Monday, September 16 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Who do I contact if I have any questions before, during or after MIC?
Email mic@nisc.coop and one of the members of the Events Team will respond to your question ASAP.
